Youth Ministry
Hope Baptist Youth Ministry is geared toward students in 7th through 12th grade. We understand that teenage years are some of the most transformative years in a young person’s life, and we are here to help.
Our purpose is to help grow students’ maturity in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to accomplish this task through different media.
Firstly, students are encouraged to engage with our youth group on Sunday mornings in gender-based Life Group classes. These classes are dynamically taught, prioritize community, and are founded upon the Word of God. Our student Life Group classes meet every Sunday from 9:15-10:15; although many students arrive early to hangout and play games.
Secondly, students have the opportunity to come together for games, Bible study, and fellowship on Wednesday Nights. These nights are full of music, food and drinks, and preaching from the Word of God. Students are challenged week in and week out “to better know Christ and make Him known”.
Thirdly, our calendar is full of different events and opportunities for students to get plugged in, learn about Jesus, and have fun. From service projects, to water parks, to our annual summer camp and various retreats, and even a New Years Eve “All Nighter” there is bound to be something that everyone will enjoy. All events are focused on building community, having fun, and challenging students to live for Christ.
It is our goal at Hope Baptist Youth to make the teenage years that students are going through to be the most spiritually transformative time in their life in order to create a faith-based foundation that they can walk upon for the rest of their life.
